Spreadsheets contain the
information collected during the
sampling.
Mile photos were saved as
jpg with a name identifying the
mile-point, and an indicator whether this was left, right or downstream.
A copy of the Google
'Spreadsheet Mapper' was created with custom
balloon information to generate the two kml files (water chemistry and
photos).
The data was copied from the
spreadsheets, into the Google
spreadsheets, and the kml output saved to the map (kml) files.
Water Testing:
Water sampling followed the processes, and used the equipment of the Missouri
Stream
Team.
USGS Stream Gage Map:
This links to the USGS site (http://waterwatch.usgs.gov/index.php?m=real&w=gmap®ions=mo)
and shows the full Missouri map. Hovering over an icon shows
some
data, clicking on an icon shows the balloon of data. The name
(in
blue) can be clicked on
to bring up a page specific for that gage, with
graphs of water height and other information.
This is a great site, with a lot of information.
