kayakswarm

The kayakswarm is an unofficial group of paddling aficionados who enjoy paddling our local
rivers and streams. Members include both recreational as well as more advanced boaters. Our
typical venues include early morning exercise paddles, ad-hoc weekend paddles, moonlight
swarms, and added in 2008 The Great Meramec GPS Paddle.

In 2009 the water monitoring and photography effort was extended to float the Courtois and Huzzah Creeks.

In 2010 we are paddling and monitoring the Bourbeuse River.

In 2011 we are paddling and monitoring the Big River.

For the 2008 Great Meramec GPS Paddle, Jim and Dianne Darlington were given the Water Quality Monitoring Ambassador Award!!
