Swarmers,

Our celebration party and kickoff was a great success.  Look for pictures on the website as soon as Kevin gets them over to Howard.

As is our custom we presented kayakswarm RIVER STEWARD AWARDS this year to the following individuals.  Please recognize them.

Bernie Arnold - For all he and other ST211 folks do to assist our efforts, and for their efforts on the rivers.  They collected over 1200 tires the weekend of the party.

Skip Hyack - Skip with Greens Canoe has supported us the past 2 years with logistics on the difficult upper sections. And coordinates our efforts with other outfitters and landowners as we paddle along.

Howare Web & Tony Thorpe - Tony Thorpe with LMVP (Lake of Missouri Volunteer Program) thought all our river pictures and data needed to be shared. So he provided web space for us, and pointed Howard at the idea.  Howard took the concept to whole new levels linking our pictures and date to google earth. The web site says it all.  www.lmvp.org/kayakswarm  Check it out.

Kevin Wright (Elmo) - Has developed music dvds of our pictures that our awesome, as well as providing logos, banner for everyone to sign, and other support.
