In a recent issue of The Water Line (Fall ’04) we introduced you to the Daily Project; an intensive 100 day sampling of three mid-Missouri reservoirs from mid-May to late August, 2004. In the article “How’s the Water Quality on the other 20 Days?” we looked at how well volunteer Secchi transparency data from Little Dixie Lake compared to university collected data for the extended time period. In this article we will use data from the Daily Project to investigate the short term variability of a number of water quality parameters.
